Ecommerce experts Nublue have launched a brand new website for Lake District based fashion brand, Lakeland Leather.

The agency, based in Lancaster, have brought the outfitter’s online presence up to date, and coordinated it with the performance of its’ outlets.

In order to enhance the customer experience further, the project integrated an email marketing platform called Campaign Monitor. This allows online users to join Lakeland Leather’s mailing list, in addition to providing transactional information to aid email marketing.

The website rebuild also focussed on making the site more functional and manageable for the company’s own online team.

Nublue’s developers for the Magento ecommerce platform worked to produce a tailor made content management system, integrating Lakeland Leather’s own back office system, which enables smooth and efficient stock and product management.

Marketing manager at Lakeland Leather, Paul Atherton, said: “We tasked Nublue with improving customer usability on mobile and tablet devices, and to allow our own team more flexibility and control over the site.

“They’ve delivered on both fronts, as we’ve not only got a website that looks great, but works in the way we need it to. Most importantly, our customer’s seem to agree as we’re seeing a strong increase in sales.”
